I hope everyone had a great Halloween, and now Thanksgiving is just around the corner! take care loves! :)
Hello there loves!
Just wanted to check in and see how you all are doing, and I hope that you are all having fun dressing up for halloween! Remember to be safe tomorrow, and be beautiful!
how is this creepy? I think that in today’s society, where women are constantly bombarded with magazines, and commercials, that tell them, that if you don’t look like this person in this advert, you are not pretty. I think that women need to encouragement not to fall victim to society’s trap, and so, I am promoting women’s self beauty
You are all beautiful young women waiting for your Prince Charming. Just stay strong, believe in yourself, do what you love, and don’t let people bring you down. Stay strong darlings! :) <3
Wondered what it’d be like to be perfect, to have the perfect body, be a size zero for jeans, have the best breasts in the whole school, be the perfect height, and have the perfect waist to hip ratio? Have the perfect family? And having all the guys gawk at you, and always asking you out, and giving you compliments? Having the best make-up compared to other girls, and having the most expensive, name-brand products? Winning the homecoming queen crown, being the star cheerleader, and dating the football star quarterback?
But in your reality, you think that these dreams are too far out of reach, not achievable in any way. You think you’ll never be good enough for anyone to love you. You look in the mirror, wanting cry at what’s staring back.
You don’t have the perfect body, your breasts are uneven, people think you’re too tall, and too ‘fat’. No guy wants to be with you, and you find it hard for one guy to even say “hello” to you. You’ll never come close to being homecoming queen, you’re not even close to being the star cheerleader, and the football star quarterback, clearly doesn’t have any interest in you. Your family fights every night, your dad coming home drunk, and yelling at you and your siblings, and you mom. You don’t own anything from Chanel, Gucci, or Ralph Lauren. And you wear little to no make-up.
Well, truth is, the girl who has the perfect body, breasts, perfect height, weight, and hip to waist ratio. The girl who has the perfect family, all the guys staring at her, the one who wears the best make-up, the girl who uses the most expensive name brand products. And the girl who is the star cheerleader, and dating the star football quarterback, and has won the homecoming queen crown. And is daddy’s little girl. Well, she, she is a fake, a “plastic”,if you will. She covers up her flaws by wearing make up, and feeling as if everything is OK. She fears that she has to be popular, a cheerleader, wear name brand clothes, etc to fit in. She has conformed to society’s standards of what “beauty” really is.
Society tells you that you have to be popular, have a perfect body, be a cheerleader, wear designer clothes, date the star quarterback, have the best make-up, and be homecoming queen.
Truth is, you don’t have to be any of that stuff to succeed, you don’t have to conform to society’s standards of what beauty is, to be beautiful. You are beautiful just the way you are.
